As construction begins at 110 The Queen’s Walk, we understand that you may have questions about how the works could affect you and the surrounding area. This page provides answers to some of the most commonly asked questions.
We’re committed to keeping disruption to a minimum and ensuring the community stays informed throughout the construction period. If you can’t find the information you’re looking for here, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
When did construction start?
Enabling works began in August 2025. Main construction will start in February 2026 and continue until summer 2028.
What are the site working hours?
Monday to Friday: 8am – 6pm
Saturday: 9am – 2pm
Occasionally extended hours may be required with prior approval from Southwark Council.
How will disruption be minimised?
We are using noise, dust and vibration monitoring at site boundaries, acoustic barriers around noisy activities, dust suppression systems, trained traffic marshals, regular road sweeping and wheel washing of construction vehicles.
Where will construction vehicles access the site?
Deliveries and waste removal will be via Weavers Lane.
Will there be any road or footpath closures?
Temporary changes may be required for safety during certain activities. We will provide advance notice on our website and in newsletters.
