Construction News
Since Southwark Council granted planning consent earlier this year, we’ve been working closely with the council and community stakeholders to finalise our construction plans. We’re pleased to confirm that enabling works began in August 2025, with main construction works set to begin in February 2026.
We’re committed to keeping the local community informed and minimising disruption wherever possible. Measures in place include noise, dust and vibration monitoring, acoustic barriers around noisy activities, trained traffic marshals, dust suppression and regular road sweeping and wheel washing of construction vehicles before they leave site.
We’ll be sending monthly newsletters to our mailing list and posting them on this page to keep everyone updated on the construction programme. Updates will include upcoming site activity, key milestones, and any temporary changes in the local area, such as footpath closures or periods of noisy work.
